At the beginning of this month, we welcomed Koen Konings as the newest member of Team smartfood R&D. Koen recently graduated as a food engineer from Wageningen University. His research included a possible selective detection preference in culturing Listeria spp Salmonella spp and Campylobacter spp in ISO detection methods. He has also gained experience in advising companies in achieving and implementing various quality standards.
At smartfood R&D, Koen's role will include the further expansion of our food grade laboratory and the analysis and interpretation of research data.
