Last week, we completed our annual cycle of evaluation interviews. After a successful pilot with 360-degree feedback in 2023, we applied this tool again this year.
In 360-degree feedback, employees receive feedback from the entire team. The 360-degree feedback always has a positive, constructive approach. This way, we collect relevant information from different perspectives. From this information, we can identify trends that we use to stimulate the growth and development of both the individual and the team.
In the 360-degree feedback from our employees, we see our core values "trust" and "cooperation" reflected nicely. If the core values trust and cooperation are present, we as a team get to our third core value: taking responsibility.
From the evaluation interviews conducted with all our employees, some trends emerged that we are quite a bit proud of. Employees indicate that the working environment is perceived as very positive. The management style is perceived as pleasant, genuine compliments such as a simple "thank you" in recognition of hard work are much appreciated. We received positive feedback on our open internal communication structure. We work with short communication lines, where we treat each other respectfully and in a personal way. Employees indicate that the pleasant management style and open internal communication structure mean they are comfortable asking questions.
The 360-degree feedback also revealed a clear wish among analysts for more in-depth knowledge about the relevance of certain analyses and the impact of analysis results on the conclusions of a study. Naturally, we are happy to accommodate such requests. We will soon be organising an internal master class in which our team of experts will explain the how and why of certain analyses and the impact of analysis results on the conclusions of a study.
We see actively involving employees in developments in the company and also actively asking for feedback on the course of events at smartfood R&D as an important way of fulfilling our growth strategy. We consider maintaining a positive working environment an important condition for further growth.
