Smartfood R&D continues to invest in people, knowledge and quality

In April, Paula Willemsen-Soare joined smartfood R&D as an R&D analyst. Although Paula already has the necessary experience in carrying out microbiological analyses, Paula is currently undergoing internal training for further in-depth training in specialist microbiology and performing physico-chemical analyses.
Besides a broad interest in food shelf-life testing, Paula brings a considerable amount of experience in implementing laboratory quality standards according to ISO 17025. We can put her experience in this area to good use in our ambition to expand the scope of our ISO 17025 quality management system in the near future.
Paula is also a LEAN ambassador. Together with the team, she will look at efficiency and the effectiveness of internal laboratory processes. This knowledge fits perfectly with smartfood R&D's ambition to grow while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality services that add value for our clients.
